Jake is a traditional astrologer who uses his background in social work and psychology to understand and improve the human condition. Through the use of ancient techniques, modern consulting skills, and an understanding of social systems; Jake is able to approach sensitive topics delicately and with compassion. His professional ethics are also informed by his background in social work.

Having studied social work at an HBCU, Jake is knowledgeable and comfortable discussing topics of race and racism. He remains committed to social justice, intersectionality, and anti-racism.

As a gay man, Jake is also comfortable discussing queer sexuality and gender identity. He has removed gendered language from his astrology practice and remains committed to dismantling gender roles and heteronormativity.
